Day 10: Shoulders and Arms
Okay, so this post is about yesterday, Saturday the 18th.
I actually did my workout early in the day, right after I woke up. That’s a first for me. I usually do my workouts in the afternoon and evening, once I’ve been up and moving around for a while. I had an extremely busy afternoon and evening planned, so I figured I’d do my workout while I had the chance.
It was a good workout, I pushed myself pretty hard on some of those exercises and saw general improvement in reps across the board. Same resistance as before, I use B.M.P. resistance bands that I bought off Amazon, and use the intermediate Green band for this. I generally increase the resistance by making a loop too, so I got a little more of a workout.
I mostly saw improvement on my triceps. By a rep or two in most of the exercises, which is good! I go for more of the 12-15 range on weights and resistance exercises. I don’t want to be crazy bulky and such. I’d rather be leaner. I pushed myself from like…. 11 reps last week to 12-13 reps this week. So that’s good!
Also, I’m coming along with Ab ripper. I still have to really tone down a couple of the exercises, just because they’re a little more difficult for me. My core is the area I’m most wanting to see improvement, so as long as I keep doing Ab ripper, and then also do the other cardio workouts and the yoga as best I can. I’ll start seeing more definition on my stomach, and then reduction in love handle size soon!
Also, this is a little bit on the side, but I did get quite the extra workout in late last night if you know what I mean. TWICE. So… yeah. ;)
